John Kullmann

John has over 20 years of experience serving as the executive business contact responsible for client satisfaction for wide variety of companies. He is the executive interface to all Utility company clients.  He consistently provides excellent customer service to accounts, as well as representing client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. He has led teams to deliver strong and sustainable results, overcoming the many competitive challenges of multiple industries and technologies.  Providing solid leadership and direction, he has developed teams and built departments which have proven to be key asset for the organization.  Prior to his current role, John was recruited to Six Sigma Qualtec to revitalize and restructure weak international sales and marketing efforts. His role was to generate new business opportunities by identifying qualified prospects and establishing and managing new business relationships.  He continues to utilize all Six Sigma and Lean tools while ensuring delivery of high client satisfaction.

Jason Singer

Jason Singer is Director of the Utilities Practice for Macrosoft, a NJ technology company. Macrosoft delivers sustained results by automating complex business processes.

Macrosoft developed Resources on-Demand, an automated emergency resource management system. RoD replaces manual/Excel processes currently used at many storm centers to manage resource requests and track personnel during emergency outages.

Mr. Singer is the author of a Report on Emergency Restoration Practices and has presented at EEI, SEE, DistribuTECH, and Marcus Evans conferences. He is a graduate of Rutgers University.

 


Phil Andreas

Phil Andreas is a Utility & Energy Industry Executive and has worked for several diversified energy companies over the last 30 years. His most recent roles were VP Electric Operations and VP Gas Operations at NSTAR Gas & Electric in Boston MA. Phil led the transformation of NSTAR's Gas and Electric Operations to become 1st quartile performers.

Phil is an expert on storm and outage management processes and systems. He has personally managed the response to numerous major storms, including: Hurricanes Gloria & Bob, the Nor'easter of 1992, 100 year storm of 1993 and several major blizzards & Nor'easters between 2002-2006.

He has a 20 year track record of successfully implementing Distribution Automation and IT systems, along with process and culture change, to maximize business advantage.

 


Robert A. Kearns

Bob Kearns was most recently Director, Emergency Planning at National Grid, with responsibility for all US emergency planning activities. At National Grid, he led an initiative to integrate multiple legacy restoration planning approaches into one enterprise-wide approach and he expanded the use of the Incident Command System (ICS), for command and control. Bob introduced stringent Business Continuity and Disaster Planning criteria, across National Grid's US territories.

During his career, Bob gained extensive experience in utility operations, construction & engineering, distribution automation, information system implementation and crisis management, through a series of assignments at NSTAR Electric, KeySpan and the Long Island Lighting Company. He is experienced in the implementation and optimization of Outage Management Systems, Mobile Data Systems and Emergency Restoration Management Systems. Bob has personally managed the response to numerous major storms and hurricanes, including Hurricane Bob (1991), the Nor'Easter of 1992 and the Ice Storm of 2008. Bob has written and enhanced electric system restoration plans for multiple utility companies and has implemented emergency response training programs, over his career. He has orchestrated and conducted a wide variety of emergency drills and tabletops - ranging from themes of business continuity disaster to electric system restoration.

 


Dr. Ronald Mueller

Ron is currently CEO of Macrosoft, Inc., an enterprise software development company headquartered in Parsippany, NJ, with development locations in India, China and Pakistan. He founded Macrosoft almost 20 year ago. In addition to his role as CEO of Macrosoft, Ron has supported a number of startup ventures and has played active roles in several of them. Macrosoft has a broad list of long term clients that include AT&T, Cablevision, AAA. In addition to offering enterprise development services, Macrosoft has a series of proprietary software products that are sold into vertical markets including ROD software for electric utilities; POD software for print and marketing communications markets; and mainframe migration services in the university and related industries.

Ron has a strong background in technology, and is considered a creative and solutions-oriented leader. His commitment to excellence has brought high value to both Macrosoft and the companies Macrosoft works with. Ron has a doctorate degree in theoretical physics from New York University, and worked in physics research for a number of years at Yale University, the Plasma Physics institute in Princeton, NJ; and Argonne National Laboratory. Prior to launching Macrosoft, Ron worked at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ.

Dr. Edward G. Sable

Dr. Ed Sable is President of Macrosoft, Inc. Prior to joining Macrosoft, Ed owned and led a business development consulting firm where he generated significant amounts of revenue for small technology companies. Prior to that, Ed managed divisions at AT&T that led the planning, design, development, and delivery of the full set of "quote to cash" systems for International voice, data, and wholesale services for the AT&T Global Network.

Ed is highly knowledgeable in the design and development of software applications and products and has worked successfully with major companies including Duke Energy, Marriott, JC Penney, Norwest, Medtronics, United Airlines, and others. As part of his role as president, Ed is leading strategic development of new business processes and products, designed to provide leading edge cost-effective systems and solutions for Macrosoft's clients. Ed received his BSEE, MSEE, and Doctorate in EE and Computer Science from Columbia University.

Basit Qari

Basit has led the design and development of several Decision Support Systems (DSS), data warehousing applications, Client-server and web based process automation applications, and web-based sales-force automation solutions. He has been instrumental in optimizing the database design for a billing data DSS to significantly reduce the query response time on large data volumes. Basit has worked extensively on the problems of customer churn analysis of communications customers based on regular transaction data analysis. He has also utilized the ideas of data warehousing and On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) in his recent projects.

Basit has BS in Computer Science from University of Karachi and MS in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
